What we assess

  • Whether your electrical supply is single-phase or three-phase, which will determine the charger power (7.4 kW or 22 kW) and charging speed.
  • The location of the electrical panel, the distance to where you want the charger installed and the type of garage (indoor or outdoor).
  • Whether you need to increase your contracted power or install a load balancer to prevent overloads.
  • The type of vehicle (electric or plug-in hybrid) and its connector (Type 2 – Mennekes).
  • The possibility of integrating the installation with solar panels or future extensions.

    Frequently asked questions

You can install one at a detached house, in a private garage or in a parking space within a communal residential garage.

You must inform the residents’ association. In many cases, formal authorisation is not required; you only need to notify the president or property manager.

Yes, but you will need authorisation from the owner of the parking space. You can then include this authorisation when notifying the residents’ association.

Not necessarily. With chargers equipped with load balancing (dynamic power control), installation may be possible without increasing your contracted power. However, this will depend on your electricity consumption and the conditions of the installation.

It depends on each case, but in many homes the installation can be completed in less than one day.
